【Valuable Exchange of Opinions with Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister Sok Chenda】Anna Advisors

Hello, this is Anna Araki from Anna Advisors.
On May 30, 2025, an event hosted by a fund officially approved by the Singapore authorities was held at the Bulgari Hotel Tokyo, and I had the honor of being invited.
At this valuable occasion, I was introduced to His Excellency Sok Chenda Sophea, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
From the Deputy Prime Minister, I received the following words:
“We would like to support companies like yours that assist investment into Cambodia.
Could you please share directly with the attendees the real situation and attractiveness of the local environment?”
Thanks to this, I was given the opportunity to briefly explain the investment environment of Cambodia.
During the dinner afterward, I was given the great honor of being seated directly in front of the Deputy Prime Minister, allowing us to exchange opinions directly.
Although the time was short, the candid conversation we shared provided significant insights for the future development of our business.
Furthermore, on the same day, a summit meeting between Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba and Prime Minister Hun Manet was held, during which the “Japan–Cambodia Co-Creation Economic Package” was announced.
In this package, it was agreed that the two countries will further strengthen cooperation across a broad range of fields, including improvements to the business environment.

In his speech, the Deputy Prime Minister also stated:
“In promoting Cambodia’s private sector, ‘investment’ rather than ‘support’ is the top priority, and I am confident that the business missions outlined in the Co-Creation Package will play an important role.”
Revitalizing the local economy through investment and connecting it to sustainable growth—
This, I believe, goes beyond ordinary corporate activities and represents the very essence of ‘co-creation,’ which connects nation to nation and people to people.
In Cambodia, the seeds of future potential are now steadily sprouting.
To nurture these seeds, we at Anna Advisors wish to continue taking sincere, steady steps forward in everything within our capacity.
For those who are new to overseas real estate or Southeast Asian investment, those who would like to compare options with other companies, those considering asset building in currencies other than Japanese yen, or those who worry that overseas remittance may be difficult or that property management may be troublesome—
