· Anna Advisors
Two consecutive tournament weeks, a combined US$1.45 million prize fund, and a chance to experience Cambodia beyond the fairways.
International championship golf is returning to Phnom Penh in November and December 2026. Anna Advisors attended the announcement press conference at Vattanac Golf Resort, where plans were presented for two consecutive Legends Tour events, including the tour’s season finale.
For international visitors, expatriates and business owners, the tournaments offer an opportunity to enjoy professional golf while getting to know the city. Here is an English adaptation of our original Japanese report, with practical links for planning your time in Phnom Penh.

Golf legends return to Cambodia
The announced combined prize fund is US$1.45 million. The events are expected to attract experienced international players, including Major champions and golfers with Ryder Cup experience; the final player field will be announced separately.
The 2025 events at Vattanac saw victories by Scotland’s David Drysdale and South Africa’s Darren Fichardt. The expanded 2026 programme brings professional competition together with Pro-Am events, sponsor activities and charity initiatives.
Discover Vattanac Golf Resort
Vattanac Golf Resort has two championship courses, East and West, designed by six-time Major winner Sir Nick Faldo and managed by Troon Golf. Khmer-inspired architecture and heritage replicas throughout the grounds give the setting a distinctly Cambodian character.
Our team’s visit provided a closer look at the venue behind the announcement. It is also a place our CEO has experienced on the course: the Anna Advisors YouTube video below shares her first overseas golf experience, including the facilities, course scenery and interactions with the caddies.

Play, watch and meet people
For amateur golfers, the programme includes opportunities to play alongside touring professionals. The separately offered Vattanac Legends Amateur Experience combines golf and travel activities. Places, package contents and prices should be confirmed directly with the organiser.
For visitors who prefer to watch, the tournament can also be a setting for meeting people with a shared interest in golf. Spending time at a sporting event offers a different perspective on the local business community from a formal meeting or a brief city tour.
Make time to explore Phnom Penh
A golf visit can be combined with a closer look at the neighbourhoods where people live and work. If you are considering a longer stay or a move, use the trip to compare daily routines, building management, nearby shops and transport needs in person.

A different way to experience Cambodia
International sporting events bring together venues, hospitality, transport and people from across the world. For a visitor, this is a chance to see another side of Phnom Penh and spend time in the city beyond the tournament itself.
